Business Insights & Strategic Finance Manager

About The Role

We are looking for a Business Insights & Strategic Finance Manager to serve as the center post between strategy, finance, and data, ensuring that financial and operational insights are not only accurate but also effectively communicated to executives, the board, and investors. Reporting into our SVP of Finance, this role requires a strong storyteller who can craft compelling narratives from complex financial data, driving alignment and decision-making at the highest levels.

What You'll Do

• Craft compelling financial narratives that translate complex data into clear, strategic insights.
• Be a bridge between our data, operations, and executive teams, ensuring alignment on key financial and business insights.
• Own and refine financial storytelling—partner with our SVP of Finance on board reporting, fundraising narratives, and strategic financial presentations.
• Partner with our internal to define what data needs to be visualized, ensuring the right insights drive decision-making.
• Coordinate and align cross-functional teams around strategic priorities, helping shape our long-term financial trajectory.
  
  

Who You Are

• 3-6 years of experience in strategy consulting, strategic finance, corporate strategy, or business insights roles.
• Exceptional storyteller with the ability to sell ideas, simplify complexity, and craft compelling narratives from data.
• Deep understanding of VC financials and SaaS fundamentals—you know how to structure and communicate key business drivers.
• Strong data intuition—comfortable collaborating with data teams to define the right visualizations and analyses.
• Experience working cross-functionally to align finance, strategy, and data teams on shared goals.
• Proactive, strategic thinker who can influence executive decision-making through structured problem-solving and insights.
  
  

Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
