A leading player in the food industry is currently seeking a Finance Manager specializing in Net Revenue Management. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this pivotal role will be responsible for optimizing revenue generation and profitability across the company's product range. The Finance Manager will leverage their expertise in finance and analytics to develop and execute strategies aimed at maximizing net sales growth, managing trade spend effectively, and ensuring adherence to budgetary targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary finance liaison for the Head of Sales, Director NRM, and Director of Commercial Strategy. Additionally, provide on-demand support to the CFO Americas.
  • Cultivate a robust culture of business partnering within the Americas Customer team, delivering valuable insights and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the main contact for Audit inquiries pertaining to Sales and Customer finance.
  • Ensure compliance with allocated trade spend budgets and assist in Monthly Forecasting, Accruals, Actuals Reporting, Variance Analysis, and Control.
  • Oversee routine business performance diagnostics, annual & strategic planning, and forecasting processes.
  • Drive the achievement of budgeted Net Sales Growth and Margin for specific brands across all channels, employing various NRM strategies such as Price/Promo optimization, Mix, Pack size (PPA), and Trade Investment.
  • Collaborate with the Customer team to enhance comprehension of performance drivers (including trends, channel/customer profitability, and external retailer dynamics) and identify GAP fill opportunities.
  • Monitor brand performance to pinpoint P&L enhancement opportunities, formulate improvement plans, and enact adjustments as needed.
  • Assist in implementing a pricing council to dynamically address cost recovery and business investment plans for sustained profitability.
  • Collaborate across functions to develop a 3-year PPA roadmap aligned with Brand and business objectives, ensuring long-term strategic alignment.
  • Establish and oversee a dynamic toolkit and operational framework to maximize Net Revenue Management.
  • Represent brands commercially in cross-functional projects, including innovation pipeline initiatives.
  • Partner with the wider finance team to enhance existing business processes and introduce new ones.


Requirements:

  • Over 8 years of progressively advancing experience within the CPG or Food Industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Finance or Accounting is mandatory; possessing an MBA or CPA is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics and utilizing technology to disseminate insights and data. Proficient in consolidating findings from extensive data analyses into coherent narratives for business partners and leadership.
  • Capable of translating data into strategic insights that inform decision-making.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and influence peers and superiors both internally and externally.
  • Possess a proactive mindset, adept at initiating new standardized processes and implementing a consistent, disciplined operational approach from the ground up.
