Bessemer Securities Corporation is seeking a talented Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) Associate to join the FP&A department within the Finance organization. This position is a unique opportunity to be a key participant in the growth of the financial planning & analysis organization within BSC. The associate will have the ability to assist in building new processes and analysis using best-in-class FP&A technology all while having exposure to senior management supporting a private investment company that participates across hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, and other strategic investments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and partner with Finance and Investment colleagues to assist in preparation of Senior Management and Board Meeting materials.
  • Assist in design of more robust sensitivity analysis, trend analysis, and market and regional reporting.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts and detailed cash flow/liquidity planning analyses across multiple general partners and on a consolidated basis.
  • Assist in maintaining the Company’s long-range plan / long-term performance study model.
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards and flash reporting, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and management to influence decision making.
  • Participate in cross-functional and special projects aimed at enhancing financial analytics and driving strategic decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, with concentrations in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • 5 – 7 Years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience in financial planning and analysis at a mid to large financial institution or at a private equity/venture capital firm.
  • Direct experience with family offices preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in financial software systems and MS Excel; Knowledge of Oracle ERP and financial planning & analysis software is a plus.
  • Highly motivated and attentive to details; Ability to contribute to and thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines; execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Effective analytical, communicational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $125,000.00. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based on individual and company performance.

Eligible employees may participate in a 401 (k) program with a company profit sharing contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability coverage and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.

Securities licenses will not generally be obtained or maintained unless deemed by Bessemer Trust to be required in order for you to perform the responsibilities of this position.
