Investment Strategy Manager II, Performance Marketing

Job description:

Our client is a leading lower middle market Private Equity firm based in NYC that was founded 20 years ago. They look across all sectors, focused in traditional buyout with investors being some of the largest and well known global institutional investors. They are looking to add a few team members to their growing Business Consulting arm. This team works in a cross-functional capacity collaborating with management teams to develop strategic plans and execute value creation initiatives.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Communicate with portfolio companies obtaining timely financial reports and operating metrics
• Analyze reports for trends and review findings across investment/operational teams
• Support M&A processes, due diligence, action plan development
• Interface with third-party organizations to review vendor spend across portfolio
• Optimize portfolio company projections/budget
• Build monthly reports on industry and portfolio best practices

Qualifications:

• 2-8 years of work experience within the financial industry, Private Equity, M&A, or Strategy Consulting
• Strong finance, accounting, modeling, financial reporting/analysis skills
• Data analysis skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar a plus
• Willingness to travel as required
• Strong interpersonal skills, team oriented, organized, efficient, and has the ability to work under tight deadlines
