Position Summary

This position will be an Analyst in the Investor Relations and Operations team. This position will contribute primarily to the group's investor relations and capital-raising initiatives and the execution of company-wide strategic initiatives and business development activities. This position is the best fit for candidates looking to make a career in private equity's investor relations and fundraising world. Candidates will have robust growth opportunities within the department.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Investor Relations in all functions, including responding to investors' information requests and periodic reporting requirements, and assist in managing the investor services email inbox and ad hoc questions.
  • Working closely with senior management in securing and retaining investors.
  • Actively contribute to creating and managing WDIP vehicle marketing materials, including executive summaries, presentations, private placement memoranda, due diligence questionnaires and limited partnership agreements.
  • Pre-marketing and database management of current and prospective investors.
  • Perform current and prospective investor research, utilizing current in-house CRM, subscription databases, and external information mining.
  • Support in developing and managing a calling plan for current and prospective investors as part of the fundraising process, including potential outreach and management of logistics.
  • Manage and produce investor-related CRM reporting.
  • Periodically participate in investor meetings.
  • Work with company executives in the preparation and execution of various strategic and operational initiatives aimed at growing/improving the business.

    • Financial analysis of projects
  • Support the execution of the firm's marketing activities, working with W&D’s marketing team to produce content and website/social/email campaigns.
  • Work with WDIP's accounting, finance, and asset management teams to prepare investors' quarterly reporting and communications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience

  • Bachelors required.
  • Relevant experience in related field such as private equity, financial marketing and/or analytics, hedge fund, etc. is helpful
  • Ability to work flexible hours/overtime.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 20%.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to synthesize information from several sources into concise and coherent conclusions.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills and strong work ethic.
  • A positive attitude and the desire to assist other team members in solving problems and providing guidance.
  • Strong motivation and a passion for finance, with the ability to work without supervision.
  • Team player, adaptable; willing to perform tasks necessary to achieve common goals.

This position has an estimated base salary of $64,400.00-80,000.00 plus annual discretionary performance bonus
