Global Commercial Services (GCS) provides a range of card programs and expense management tools to help large, medium and small businesses around the world manage almost all the facets of their business spending. The GCS Lead Financial Office (LFO) team is responsible for providing financial management, decision support, and planning & results analysis to the Chief Commercial Officer and her direct reports to help achieve BU and AXP financial targets.

This position partners with the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) organization (representing a quarter of all AXP Billed Business) directly supporting the GM and his leadership team. It is focused on providing deep dive analytics to drive growth both through new client acquisitions, and additional payment and financing solutions to existing clients.

In this role, the Senior Analyst will focus their time on:

• Partnering closely with the SME organization: providing deep dive analytics on client level data to influence strategic decisions that drive efficient growth, supporting investment discussions, and analyzing outcomes
• Working across business functions to ideate on revenue and profit contribution initiatives, balancing short and long-term impacts, and driving strategic focus
• Supporting the recurring results-analytics process, leading efforts to deliver insightful commentary and decision-driving recommendations
• Providing ongoing support to the US SME GM and LT for effective and financially sound decision making, including P&L and trend analytics, and supporting ongoing forecasting efforts
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience in Finance, data analytics, strategy, or consulting
• Proficiency in SQL/SAS or similar languages is required
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence to voice opinions, ask questions, and develop a point of view in meetings & conversations with senior executives
• Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data - advanced Excel skills & detail-oriented
• Strong relationship building skills and capable of driving results across teams
• Bachelor’s Degree required

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
