Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Selby Jennings is looking to speak with candidates interested in exploring Private Equity opportunities with a top-tier firm looking to expand their Denver team. This group is comprised of sharp individuals from top shops, and are looking for Investment Banking/Private Equity candidates interested in relocating to Denver.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, modeling, and valuation to evaluate potential investment opportunities and support decision-making processes.
2. Due Diligence: Lead due diligence efforts, including market research, competitor analysis, and comprehensive assessments of target companies' financial health and operational performance.
3. Deal Execution: Collaborate with the deal team in structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions, ensuring adherence to investment criteria and objectives.
4. Portfolio Management: Monitor and support portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to implement operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and performance tracking.
5. Industry Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
2. 2-4 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting, with Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
3. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
