Job Description:
As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our strategic endeavors, leveraging your expertise in financial modeling to drive informed decision-making and facilitate productive engagements with investors. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Modeling:
- Develop complex financial models to evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities, incorporating key variables such as valuation, synergies, and financial projections.
- Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of various strategic initiatives on financial performance and shareholder value.
Due Diligence:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential M&A targets, assessing their financial health, market positioning, and strategic fit with their objectives.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders, outlining findings, recommendations, and risk assessments.
Investor Relations:
- Support the Investor Relations team in communicating on financial performance, growth strategy, and industry developments to investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and other communication materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company messaging.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments in the renewable energy sector, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct benchmarking analyses to evaluate performance relative to peers and identify opportunities for operational improvement and value creation.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions, serving as a primary point of contact for inquiries and information requests.
- Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and conference presentations, facilitating productive interactions and fostering confidence in growth prospects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence, ideally within investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software (e.g., DCF, LBO), and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
