The Role

Carrot is seeking a Sr. FP&A Manager to work closely with our CFO, SVP, Finance and CX team. This is a brand new role as we launch the ‘Delivery Group’ within FP&A. Delivery will handle the financial aspects of product or service delivery to customers. This includes cost analysis, profitability analysis of products/services, and financial oversight of operations. Their objective is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of delivery mechanisms, reduce costs, and improve margins while maintaining high-quality standards. This group plays a crucial role in linking financial performance with customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a CX (Customer Experience) Business Partner, collaborating with CX teams to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct Engagement Rate Analyses and Reporting to measure the effectiveness of customer interaction strategies.
  • Partner with R&D teams as an R&D Business Partner, supporting innovation through financial insights, strategic planning and operational efficiency.
  • Perform ROI analyses to evaluate the financial returns of projects and investments across the engineering and CX organizations.
  • Design and implement CX compensation incentives to motivate and reward customer-facing teams for exceptional performance.
  • Conduct Segment Profitability Analyses to identify high-performing segments and optimize resource allocation.
  • Act as a Growth Marketing Business Partner, aligning financial strategy with marketing initiatives to drive sustainable growth.
  • Develop comprehensive billings forecasts to predict future revenues and cash flows, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall financial strategy planning.
  • Analyze customer segment profitability to pinpoint key drivers of profitability and inform key stakeholders with strategic decisions.


What are we looking for?

  • Analytical undergraduate degree, including but not limited to Finance or Accounting; MBA beneficial
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an analyst with a strategic focus, ideal candidates will have worked in a top-tier consultancy, investment bank or similar environment followed by experience in an operating company
  • Experience or desire to understand financial analytics with a passion for modeling
  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities with precision
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and bring forth new ways of thinking
  • You're able and excited to conceive of and execute projects independently; while able to learn from and leverage the expertise around you
  • A get-things-done mindset; you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves and diving into raw data, messy details and existing models to deliver results under time pressure
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, and the ability to develop creative solutions for challenging, open-ended problems

Compensation

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $145,000-$170,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
