Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and analytical Strategic Finance Associate to report to the CFO with a dotted lined to the CEO. As a key member of the Strategic Finance department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting critical financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for driving actionable insights to optimize performance and achieve our strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling, scenario planning, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and performance optimization.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product launches, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
  3. Providing insights and recommendations based on rigorous analysis of financial data, market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry benchmarks.
  4. Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term strategic plans, incorporating key assumptions, risk factors, and growth opportunities.
  5. Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track progress against strategic objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Contributing to the development of business cases and investment proposals, assessing potential returns, risks, and strategic alignment.
  7. Supporting M&A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning, to facilitate informed decision-making and successful execution.
  8. Partnering with senior leadership to prepare executive-level presentations and reports summarizing financial performance, key insights, and strategic recommendations.
  9. Participating in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned, leveraging financial expertise to address complex business challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  10. Staying informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in strategic finance to enhance knowledge and contribute to organizational success.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  2. years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or related roles, with a focus on financial analysis and strategic planning.
  3. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software preferred.
  4. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, effectively communicate complex concepts, and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  6. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy, reliability, and integrity in financial analysis and reporting.
  7. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and ownership; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  8. Strong business acumen, critical thinking skills, and a passion for driving innovation, growth, and value creation.
  9. Knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and corporate finance concepts; familiarity with valuation techniques and investment analysis.
  10. Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry and adapt to changing business requirements and strategic priorities.
