Strategic Financial Analyst

WCS, backed by a major infrastructure fund, is seeking a Strategic Financial Analyst to join its dynamic and entrepreneurial team. WCS develops low-carbon baseload power and industrial decarbonization projects, with a focus on Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). The Strategic Financial Analyst will work closely with the CFO, taking on diverse responsibilities, including advanced financial modeling of power plants, power markets, and company cash flows, as well as budgeting, capital planning, market research, and investor presentations. Given WCS’ small team and fast-paced environment, this role offers broad exposure and a unique opportunity to contribute to the energy transition while gaining deep financial and industry expertise. This role is in-person in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of financial analysis and modeling experience
• Investment banking experience preferred
