Job Description

This role can be based in our San Francisco, CA or Sunnyvale, CA office.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We're looking for a dynamic, strategic thinker who’s ready to influence outcomes and drive impact through data and storytelling. In this high-visibility role, you’ll be the central point for consolidating our trends, forecasts, and growth opportunities—crafting a cohesive narrative that informs strategic decisions and serves as the main point of contact for our corporate team that supports the CFO. You won’t just analyze the data—you’ll shape how it’s understood, influencing the leaders and decision-makers who turn insights into action. Your work will fuel key initiatives, uncover new opportunities, and guide the business toward sustainable growth. You’ll lead critical projects, collaborate across teams, and bring a metrics-driven perspective to every conversation. Responsibilities:

  • Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) and implications of internal/external factors to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
  • Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders.
  • Independently partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective.
  • Serves as a resource for stakeholders to answer a wide variety of complex questions.
  • Independently drives the development of large workstreams, projects, or operational processes.
  • Begins to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and leads strategy development with business partners.
  • Proactively identifies obstacles and recommends solutions.
  • Provides guidance and support to more junior team members learning to operationalize ideas and develop plans for execution.
  • Supports performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts and develops improvements/alternatives for key metrics.
  • Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address highly complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 5 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the technology industry.

The pay range for this role is $123,000 to $199,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
